This blue jade ring is carved from a single jadeite rough as the pair of blue jade earrings, NJE079. The blue jadeite cabochons have an alluring blue hue which is distinctly similar in both colour hue and jadeite quality. In this jade ring, sparkling natural diamonds surround the vivid blue jade cabochon to create an elegant and classic ring design.
Fine jadeite cabochon pairs are hard to come by due to the difficulty in matching colours and rarity of material sufficient for carving matching cabochons. As a jade jewellery set, this trio of blue cabochons is highly collectible and much harder to find. The blue jade set can be viewed in photos 6 and 8.
The translucent jadeite material catches light beautifully and allows the blue hue of the jadeite to glow exquisitely in light.
