This custom made jadeite pendant features a colourless jadeite cabochon framed in a halo of sparkling diamonds. The Type A jadeite cabochon is almost transparent, giving the jadeite an almost glass-like appearance. Unlike purely transparent glass, this glassy jade cabochon displays a beautiful shimmer that glows from within the jadeite. This natural shimmer is a good indicator of the density and fineness of the crystals within the jadeite. Thus, a combination of glassy translucency and a strong shimmery glow is often used to distinguish fine colourless jadeite jewellery.
The bespoke design of this jadeite pendant is finished in 18K white gold and uses natural diamonds. A dainty but vivid green jadeite cabochon sits above the glassy jadeite cabochon, adding a beautiful colour contrast in this custom jadeite pendant.
