Description
This jadeite beads necklace consists of Type A jadeite beads carved from a single jadeite rough. The jadeite beads display a light blue hue which glows lustrously in natural light. High translucency of the jadeite allows light to penetrate the jadeite beads and this creates a feeling of depth in the icy blue jadeite beads.
The blue jadeite beads are strung together with a 18K white gold clasp with a matching set of natural blue sapphires. The sapphires chosen for this clasp have ombre colour effect with an elegant gradient of blue hues displayed. The clasp can be opened and this allows the jade beads necklace to be worn as a single strand or a double strand. In a double strand, the necklace length is about 16inches (photo 8).
