This is a jadeite abacus ring carved completely out of natural jadeite. The hololith ring wears comfortably for a ring size of HK 10. Carved entirely out of Type A jadeite, the ring wears snugly on one's finger and has a unique feel because of the cool, polished finish of the natural jadeite.
The colours in this jadeite ring are a mix of black hues with different saturations. The monochromatic colours are lightly tinted with lavender, especially in the portions that are almost colourless with high translucency. These areas are particularly striking because of the lustrous glow that combines with the crystalline structure within the jadeite, creating an extra shimmery appearance within the jadeite abacus ring. This eye-catching effect can be seen in the larger patch with the lavender tint and at a smaller patch closer to the interior portion of the ring.
Full jadeite rings are usually thicker and this abacus jadeite ring is no different. In choosing a size, it would be advised to select a half size bigger for a more comfortable fit. This ring should fit well for a finger that usually wears HK 10 for classic gold bands.
