Description
This Type A jadeite necklace is strung together with 108 jadeite beads that display a striking green colour. The green jadeite beads measure 6mm in diameter each and are carved from a single jadeite rough.
Every single bead is carefully chosen for this jadeite necklace. The even green hue in this strand of beads is bright and carries no dark tone. The jadeite beads also have a watery lustre that allows the jadeite necklace to glisten beautifully regardless of the lighting conditions. This is especially special considering the bright and saturated green hue of the jadeite beads.
Lastly, clarity of the jadeite beads is exquisite and can be observed in the photos taken. As a note, photos of the jade beads can be magnified and zoomed in on, when viewed on a desktop or laptop. The jadeite beads are clear of dark spots or dark inclusions.
Strung with 18K white gold clasps, this green jadeite necklace can be worn as a single strand which measures about 26 inches. The gold and diamond clasps also allow the necklace to be converted into a shorter strand of necklace (18.75 inches) and a matching bracelet (7 inches). The jadeite beads bracelet will wear comfortably for wrists up to 15cm in circumference.
Jadeite bead necklaces are very difficult to obtain in fine quality. In crafting round jade beads, a lot of jade material has to be polished off to achieve the spherical shape. Thus, to create a necklace with matching colour hue, translucency and also clarity, a large amount of fine jadeite material is required. Moreover, to be able to match these various qualities in jade, a single jade bead necklace would have to be carved from a single raw jade stone which adds to the rarity of fine jade bead necklaces.
