This delicate jade pendant is carved in the likeness of a fairy angel. The intricate jade carving is carved from a highly translucent blue jadeite. The blue hue gives the jade carving a subtle appearance while the translucency adds a more three-dimensional look to the fine details of the jadeite carving. The fairy wings of the angel are finely carved which adds an interesting feature to the jade carving. Held against natural light, the fairy wings have a translucent glow and display a lighter blue hue than the fairy angel despite being carved from a single blue jadeite rough.
The fairy angel pendant is set in 18K white gold and decorated with natural diamonds which adorn the wings of the angel. A white gold halo above the fairy angel carving doubles as the pendant chain attachment. The gold halo is designed to allow the halo and the fairy angel carving to be front facing whilst worn on a chain.
