A very special colour for jadeite is blue. Among the more known colours for jadeite are green, yellow, red and lavender hues. Blue is not a colour typically associated with jadeite. This set of jadeite earrings with a ring consists of 3 uniquely coloured jadeite cabochons. In daylight, these jadeite cabochons gleam in a beautiful hue of blue which is akin to colours more commonly seen in Sapphires and other gemstones. Lustre and translucency in this set of jadeite cabochons are also very high and despite their smaller sizes, this jewellery set is quite eye catching.
Similar to our other set of earrings and jadeite ring (NJS001), these 3 jadeite cabochons were cut from a single raw piece of jadeite which allows the 3 pieces to have matching colour tones. Especially important in this set, due to the rare colour hue, is to note that the jadeite jewellery is natural and not enhanced, being Type A jadeite.
