This jade ring features a natural, Type A jadeite carved as a Hu Lu or 葫芦 in Chinese. Hu Lu 葫芦 carvings symbolise health and longevity. The carving takes the form of a calabash with its 2 rounded domes. In this jade ring, the Hu Lu is carved from a blue jadeite. The colour is a shade of sky blue and has no secondary colours. Good clarity with no dark spots, this blue jadeite ring exudes a calming and relaxing presence.
The translucent jadeite carving is set in an 18K white band that has natural diamonds flanking both sides of the jadeite centrepiece. The diamonds add a sparkly touch to the soothing blue hue of the jadeite ring.
