108 round beads with diameters of approximately 6.5mm each make up this exquisite jadeite beads necklace. The Type A jadeite beads have an alluring hue of bluish-green with high translucency in all of the beads. Carved and polished from a single raw jadeite block, the beads found in this jadeite necklace have a uniformly saturated colour hue with matching sizes in all of the beads.
High translucency is present in these jadeite beads allowing light to pass through individual beads easily. The translucency combined with highly saturated colour gives the beads a jelly-like appearance in both natural and indoor lighting conditions. Also because of their high translucency and fine crystal aggregate structure, when observed under strong lighting, soft cotton-like materials can be seen in the jadeite beads, appearing like flakes of snow in the bluish-green jade beads. This can be observed in the photos taken. As a note, photos of the jade beads can be magnified and zoomed in on, when viewed on a desktop or laptop.
