A simple yet elegant pair of jadeite earrings in a dangling design. The matching Type A jadeite discs featured in this design have a light green hue with a gradient of green that forms beautiful patterns on the jadeite surface.
The jade discs are perfectly round and have a small hole centred on both discs. This jade carving is popularly known as safety coin carvings or 平安扣 in Chinese. In Feng Shui beliefs, these jade carvings are usually worn to protect the wearer against ill fortunes. A popular carving for natural jadeite, the shape of the carving also helps with the dangling earring design which allows a dangle to be crafted through the centre hole of the disc. In this pair of earrings, the top of the dangles is set with a single natural pearl and can be worn separately as a pair of pearl ear studs, without the dangling jadeite discs. The design adds versatility and provides an option of a simple pair of stud earrings, set in 18K yellow gold, or as an elegant dangling pair of mint green jadeite earrings.
The main photos are taken in natural lighting and there are 2 additional photos taken with indoor lighting to showcase the jadeite in different types of lighting. This helps to provide a good view of how the jade earrings look like indoors to provide as accurate a representation as possible of this jadeite jewellery.
