Double Happiness, 喜喜, is a well-known Chinese character which represents love, happiness, and luck. The characters directly translate to double happiness and is also known in Chinese as 双喜 due to the double 喜 characters. The Double Happiness character is commonly used in marriage decorations because of its auspicious meanings closely tied to blissful marriages.
This pair of carved jadeite earrings has the Double Happiness character carved beautifully on each side. The carving makes use of the natural colour gradients found in the jadeite to display a more abstract appearance of the classic character. The carved jadeite earrings are intricately set with 18K yellow gold.
