This is a pair of jadeite cabochon earrings which are often referred to as "glassy" jadeite. The natural jadeite pieces are in almost spherical shapes which highlight the translucency of the jadeite. When light hits the jadeite cabochons, a warm lustrous glow can be observed from within the dome shaped carvings, exemplary of fine "glassy" jadeite.
Apart from the glassy quality of these jadeite cabochons, both jadeite carvings are completely clear and have no visible inclusions. This pair of jadeite carvings is pure and as colourless as natural jadeites come. Both pieces do not display any hint of colour.
This pair of jadeite cabochons is set in 18K white gold with natural diamonds forming a halo around the cabochons. The diamonds sparkle beautifully in light and give contrast to the soft glowing lustre of the glassy jadeite.
