This Type A jade ring is set with a colourless jadeite cabochon that displays a glassy translucency that glows beautifully. The extremely fine crystal aggregates in the jadeite cabochon allows the dome shaped jadeite piece to be polished to a high shine. This jadeite quality also allows light that passes through the jadeite material to be softly diffused, creating the shimmery glow that is characteristic to fine glassy jadeite. This soft glow is easily observed in the jadeite ring, regardless of the lighting conditions.
This glassy jadeite cabochon ring has a modern setting crafted in 18K black gold with natural diamonds decorating the band of the ring. The black gold adds a bold contrast to the glassy jadeite, finishing the jadeite ring in a minimalistic and contemporary design.
