This pair of jade earrings features a pair of glassy jadeite pieces carved in asymmetric shapes. The angular jadeite pieces are uniquely different from classic jadeite shapes with their smooth and flush surfaces. Carved from a single jadeite rough, both jadeite pieces have an identical icy cool and completely colourless with a glassy translucency.
The high translucency and asymmetric shapes make the jadeite pieces appear almost like 2 frosty ice blocks. Leveraging the icy appearance of the jadeite, this pair of earrings is designed with a pair of arctic animals set in 18K white gold. On one side is a polar bear and on the other side is a penguin. Both animals are placed delicately upon the 2 frosty blocks of jadeite "ice" in this playful and most interesting design using the finest glassy quality jadeite.
