This pair of dangling jadeite earrings is crafted with 2 jadeite "safety coins" carved from colourless jadeite. The earrings design incorporates a delicate detail specific to safety coin carvings, creating a tiny cylinder out of the jadeite material carved from the centre of the safety coin. This tiny cylinder sits on top of the jadeite carving, adding to the length of the dangling earrings.
The jadeite material in this pair of earrings is exquisite in its translucency and has a fine crystal aggregate structure. Carved in a safety coin design, the polished jadeite emanates a shimmer that follows the light, encircling the jadeite carvings with a striking glow.
The earring studs that are included in this pair of earrings are set with 18K white gold and natural diamonds. This pair of studs is removable and the dangling jadeite carvings can be removed and worn with other compatible earring studs (photos 3, 4 and 5).
