This elegant jadeite ring features a glassy jadeite centrepiece intricately carved as a Ru Yi (如意). This classic carving has an abstract appearance and is derived from a traditional Chinese scepter which often features cloud-like shapes on one end. Ru Yi in Chinese literally means "as desired". Worn as a ring, the jadeite carving has an auspicious meaning which is to grant its wearer the ability to achieve one's wishes.
This jadeite Ru Yi (如意) is carved from a highly translucent jadeite material with very fine crystal aggregates. In the middle of the dewy jadeite carving is bluish-green streak that is decorative and adds a natural touch to the pristine, colourless jadeite.
This abstract jadeite carving is set with an 18K rose gold band with a motif design, decorated with natural diamonds.
