The colour green is almost synonymous with classic jade jewellery. However, there are various hues of green with even more variations in saturation and tone that can be found in natural jadeite.
In this pair of Type A jadeite cabochons, the green hue displayed is on the brighter side with good saturation. This sort of green has a more contemporary look as opposed to the deeper variety of green which takes on a more classic appearance. A good level of translucency combined with a proportionately domed surface adds a watery look to the refreshing green jadeite cabochons. On one of the cabochons, there is a patch of vivid green that can be seen at the bottom of the cabochon.
This pair of green jade cabochons is set with 18K white gold with a halo of natural diamonds framing each cabochon. The classic halo setting has a subtle starburst design that adds to the contemporary appearance of this pair of jadeite earrings. Measuring about 7mm in length, this pair of jade earrings has a a good size which brightens any outfit with a classy and refreshing touch.
The main photos are taken in natural lighting and there are 2 additional photos taken with indoor lighting to showcase the jadeite in different types of lighting.
