Green Jade Ring - Irregular Cutting (NJR045)
Green Jade Ring - Irregular Cutting (NJR045)
Description
A widely referenced colour term used in jadeite is the Imperial Green. While being a relatively vague term in its exact colour makeup, the general consensus is that it is a vivid pure green hue without dark tones and coupled with good translucency. This particular Type A jadeite ring fits the various criteria with its pure vivid green hue that remains highly saturated and vivid regardless of the lighting conditions. Good translucency in the jadeite material also gives the ring an almost jelly-like appearance. This is in part due to the highly saturated green hue, and also the irregular cutting of the jadeite.
With sharp angular faces polished beautifully into the surface of the jadeite, the appearance of the ring is refreshing and carries a more modern and contemporary design. The jade ring is set with 18K white gold and natural diamonds. 3 yellow sapphires adorn each side of the ring, giving a subtle contrast to the vivid green hue of the jade centrepiece.
The jadeite centrepiece in this jade ring is Type A and has not been enhanced. The main photos are taken in natural lighting and there are 2 additional photos taken with indoor lighting. The indoor photos are to showcase how the jade ring would look like in normal indoor lighting.
