Carved from Type A jadeite with a lively hue of green, this pair of dangling jadeite earrings offers a beautiful colour of jadeite combined with intricate craftsmanship. This interlocking jadeite carving is especially delicate because the 2 individual jadeite hoops are carved from a single jadeite rough to be physically separate but interlocked with each other.
In this particular pair of interlocking hoops, sophistication of the carving is combined with a refreshing green hue with different saturations of green forming unique patterns across the surfaces of the jadeite carvings. The blend of bright green to a light green colour has an icy appearance because of the good translucency in the jadeite material. The jadeite carvings also display a high level of clarity, with no visible dark inclusions, which further enhances the clean and refreshing look of this pair of jadeite earrings.
The jadeite double hoops are classically set with 18K white gold, encrusted with natural diamonds. The gold ear studs, that the jadeite hoops dangle off, are removable from the dangling jadeite pieces. The gold ear studs are designed as a pair of Eternity Knots. In Asian culture, the symbol of the Eternity Knot is connected to long life, harmony, and continuity. In this jade earrings design, the gold Eternity Knots are ear studs that can be worn by themselves or matched with any dangling earrings with a suitable hoop attachment. This jade jewellery can also be worn separately as pendant with a pendant hook (refer to images 3, 7 and 8) which is not included.
