This jadeite pendant is set with a black jadeite with high translucency. The rectangular shaped jadeite displays streaks of black interspersed with highly translucent, colourless jadeite that creates a wave-like appearance in monochromatic tones.
The modern design of this jadeite pendant is set in 18K yellow gold for a warm colour contrast. The pendant hook has a channel of natural diamonds decorating its sleek profile. A single highly translucent Type A yellow jadeite cabochon sits below the pendant hook, emphasizing the warm colour contrast of the yellow gold. An interesting quirk about this design is the ability of the yellow cabochon to be moved up and down along a small straight channel carved into the icy black jadeite pendant. Because of this flexible design, tiny, playful tweaks can be made to the appearance of the jade pendant, however one wishes. Back of the yellow cabochon is a design of a gold coin.
