The centrepiece in this jadeite ring is an icy jadeite carved in a cabochon shape. The jadeite cabochon is colourless with high translucency and fine crystal aggregates. Within the icy jadeite, there is a patch of colour with specks of greenish-blue. These specks of colour or 飘花 are completely natural and add an artistic appeal to the otherwise colourless jadeite cabochon (Find out more about these 飘花 or "floating flowers" in our blog article here.)
Set in 18K white gold, this jadeite ring has an interesting design element. Whilst worn, the jadeite cabochon appears to be floating within a halo of diamonds. The sparkly diamonds are not connected to the jadeite cabochon and creates a sparkly ring of light around the icy jadeite. The ring wears beautifully as a statement ring.
This jadeite ring is crafted with Type A jadeite which has not been enhanced. The main photos are taken in natural lighting and there are 2 additional photos taken with indoor lighting. This helps to provide a good view of how the jade ring looks under different lighting conditions.
