This carved jadeite pendant showcases a landscape scenery, traditionally depicted in classic Chinese artwork. The intricate carving consists of a pavilion situated beside a pine tree 松树 and before a backdrop of mountains. In Feng Shui practices, the positioning of mountains behind a house symbolises a strong support or backing. Directly translated to Chinese, this means 有靠山 or having support in one's life. The pine tree symbolises longevity.
The jadeite material featured in this jade pendant is Type A with a fine crystal structure and good translucency. The polished finish of the jadeite glistens beautifully with a soft, dewy appearance. The jadeite pendant has a light tint of green with swirls of greenish blue naturally decorating the carved pendant.
