Jadeite comes in an assortment of colours. This set of Type A jadeite cabochons are in a hue of bluish-green. Such hues are not commonly found in jadeite with such clear translucency. All 3 cabochons have an icy, almost glassy level of translucency with very fine crystal aggregates which allows the jadeite material to be polished to a beautiful shine.
These 3 jadeite cabochons were cut from a single raw piece of jadeite which allows the 3 pieces to have matching colour tones. Designing and setting them into a set of earrings and ring was the ideal choice given their matching dimensions.
