These 2 jade rings feature a similar carving in the shape of a plum blossom flower. The jadeite carvings make use of highly translucent Type A jadeite in 2 different colour hues. The first ring is carved from an icy white jadeite while the second ring is carved from an icy green jadeite. Carved as plum blossoms, the well-rounded petals of the flower carving make good use of the icy jadeite material, creating a beautiful glowing effect around the edges of the petals which shifts about depending on the angle of lighting.
Both icy jadeite rings are set in 18K rose gold for a more contemporary look and are both decorated with a single natural diamond in the center of the jadeite carving. Carved as a plum blossom, this jadeite ring wears elegantly and carries a deeper symbolic meaning. Plum blossoms flower at the end of winter and signify the beginning of spring. Being able to bloom right after winter, these flowers are especially hardy and it is this trait that associates these beautiful flowers with a hardy perseverance. Blooming right at the end of winter, these blossoms are considered the first flowers of spring and represent the beauty of renewal in nature.
The main photos are taken in natural lighting and there are 2 additional photos taken with indoor lighting to showcase the jadeite rings in different types of lighting.
