This jade jewellery set is made up of 3 highly translucent jadeite cabochons crafted into a pair of earrings and a matching ring. The 3 jade cabochons are polished from a single raw jadeite stone and thus their colour hue and translucency match as a set.
The high translucency and fine crystal aggregates in the cabochons make these jade jewellery pieces stand out. With a good green intensity and rounded thickness, the translucency of the cabochons can be seen in both natural and indoor lighting. In 1 side of the earring, under direct sunlight, there are some cotton-like inclusions that can be seen within the jadeite cabochon. This can only be seen close up and is a downside of highly translucent green jadeite.
All 3 jadeite cabochons are natural Type A jade and the colour hue and translucency as seen in the photos are as representative as photos come. The last 2 photos in the set are taken under indoor lighting at 4000K colour temperature. They showcase how the jade cabochons display no indication of dark tones even in indoor lighting.
