Highly translucent jadeite with fine crystal aggregates are able to aggregate light that is shone on it, creating a lustrous glow often seen in icy and glassy jadeite. Carved as a hololith ring, this effect is observed across the entire band of the ring, resulting in a glowing band of light on one's finger.
This jade abacus ring is entirely carved out of Type A jadeite. Photo 4 is an example of how the jadeite ring can be stacked with another ring.
