This is a pair of stud earrings crafted in an abstract butterfly design. Each side of the earrings forms the shape of a butterfly from a side profile. The butterfly wings are carved from Natural Type A jade with an icy appearance. The translucent jadeite is framed with 18K white gold, sparkling with natural diamonds.
Almost entirely colourless, the jadeite in this pair of earrings is highly translucent with a smooth, lustrous glow. This quality of jadeite is often referred to as "icy jadeite" because of its frosty appearance. Subtle streaks of bluish green (飘花) add a light touch of colour while maintaining the clean and dewy appearance of the icy jadeite carvings.
The jadeite carvings are guaranteed Type A jadeite. Photographs are taken in natural lighting and are not enhanced in any way. The last two photos are taken indoor to give an accurate representation of how the jade appears in different lighting.
