This icy jade pendant is carved intricately as a crab claw. Crab claw carvings have an interesting meaning. Crabs crawl sideways, 横行 in Chinese. The pincer is also its 'hand' in other word, which translates to 手. Hence in Fengshui practices, a crab claw carving symbolises 横财就手 or directly translated as to claw wealth and windfall to its wearer. The icy jadeite is almost entirely colourless but for a very light tinge of green which can be observed when the jade carving is placed upon a white background.
