This jadeite ring has an open ring design with a carved jadeite on one end and a natural diamond on the other end. The natural, Type A jadeite is carved in the shape of a seedpod of a lotus plant. This jadeite "seedpod" is carved from a highly translucent jadeite that has a light tint of blue. The jadeite carving has a watery appearance, in part due to the greenish-blue tint but mainly because of the dense crystal structure of the jadeite. With fine crystals and a dense structure, jadeite crystals are not visible in this carving thus giving the jadeite carving a jelly-like appearance.
Finished in 18K rose gold and designed as an open ring, this jadeite ring wears very comfortably with a modern appeal.
