The jadeite centrepiece in this ring is carved in the shape of a tiny mountain with sleek angular sides and a lightly carved mountain top. This abstract mountain carving makes use of the frosty appearance of the natural jadeite to great effect, creating this pristine looking, tiny mountain that sits elegantly atop a white gold ring.
This jadeite ring is set with 18K white gold to enhance the clear and pristine appearance of the jadeite carving. Sparkling, colourless diamonds are used to decorate the left face of the jadeite mountain to create the effect of snow capped mountain top. And on the right face of the mountain, the white gold ring has an interesting pebbled finish.

Mountains are also referred to in the Chinese term 靠山 as it translates to a support or backing which one can lean on.
