The jade ring features a jadeite carving of a three-legged toad. This jadeite carving is also popularly known as the Feng Shui Frog and is commonly used in Feng Shui practices as a symbol of prosperity. Placement of the three-legged toad on a ring is especially auspicious as a ring can be worn at most times and as with its belief in Feng Shui, having it often helps to bring in wealth and luck.
Icy colourless jadeite is used in crafting this auspicious jade carving. The three-legged toad is thick and dome-shaped which help create the natural shimmery effect observed in fine translucent jadeite. This jade ring is set in 18K rose gold with a modern, angular ring shape. The sides of the ring are straight and box-like which allows the ring to be worn very comfortably while propping the jadeite carving and its embellishments up to be displayed beautifully, as though on a platform.
This jadeite ring is natural Type A and has not been enhanced. The main photos are taken in natural lighting and there are 2 additional photos taken with indoor lighting. This helps to provide a good view of how the jade ring looks under different lighting conditions to provide as accurate a representation as possible of our jade pieces.
