An icy jadeite beautifully carved in the shape of a bamboo. The jadeite material is translucent and has fine crystal aggregates. The material has a good thickness while still being translucent.
The base colour of the jadeite is icy white and there are several specks of light green around. This jade jewellery is set with a simple pendant clasp allowing for a gold chain to easily wear the jadeite pendant.
In traditional Chinese culture, bamboo carvings symbolise "to rise steadily to eminence", especially in career. 节节高. As a result, the bamboo is a very auspicious object often seen in jade jewellery carvings.
