This is a pair of dangling jadeite earrings beautifully decorated with natural blue tourmalines. The Type A pair of icy white jadeite is covered with intricate motifs of clouds, creating an abstract design that wraps around both sides of each teardrop jadeite carving.
Highly translucent, the icy jadeite pair wears incredibly well because of its dangling design. Worn in natural daylight, the translucency creates a lustrous glow that is highlighted by streaks of bluish green, naturally decorating the jadeite carvings.
Adding to the cool blue hues of the jadeite are 2 pairs of tourmaline carvings that are set upon the jadeite. The indigo coloured tourmalines are carved in the shape of 2 dainty butterflies. Resting upon the icy jadeite dangles, the whimsical tourmaline butterflies lend a magical touch to the classic jade earrings.
