Carved as a single blade of leaf, this highly translucent jade carving is set with 18K white gold and decorated brightly with natural sapphires in various pink hues. In Chinese, leaves are called 叶子 which sounds closely similar to the Chinese word for career 事业. This jadeite ring, with its intricate carving of a leaf, seeks to grant a good career or business outlook for its wearer.
The jadeite carving is a highly translucent and colourless jadeite material. The high translucency showcases the fine texture of the jadeite and allows clarity of the jadeite to be observed easily. With magnification, wisps of cotton-like flakes can be seen at the bottom and top of the jade leaf carving.
