15 lightly carved jadeite pieces are matched with round tiger's eye beads to form this brightly coloured jadeite bracelet. The individual jadeite pieces are carved to resemble tortoise shells. Three repeating colours of green, yellow and light lavender jadeite feature in this bracelet.
Tortoises are revered for their long lives and in many cultures, tortoises symbolise longevity, endurance and wisdom. Their shells, in particular, represent protection and are used in Feng Shui for this particular purpose.
