Natural jadeite can be found in a variety of colours from the commonly known green jade to lesser known varieties like yellow jade which is sometimes also referred to as lemon jade. These interesting colours are not usually associated with jadeite but carry the same beauty associated with natural jadeite.
In this necklace pendant, 6 translucent cabochons are fashioned from Type A natural jadeite in 6 different colours. These jadeite colours are arranged in a colour gradient: red, orange, yellow, green, blue and white or colourless. These jadeite cabochons are bezel set with 18K yellow gold and beside the final colourless jadeite, is a lightly carved jadeite whale. The carving makes use of a highly translucent and colourless jadeite to great effect and results in a cute whale carving that faces the colourful jadeite cabochons. The design alludes to a blissful looking whale blowing out colourful bubbles in the form of jadeite cabochons.

Jadeite fish carving has a width of 15.8mm and a height of 6.2mm with a thickness of about 3.5mm. Each jadeite cabochon has a diameter of about 3.5mm. Length of gold necklace can be adjusted to be worn at about 18, 17 or 16inches.
Setting
Jade pendant is set with 18K yellow gold and is attached to an 18K yellow gold chain. The gold chain is not removable.
