This jade bracelet is made of 8 intricate jadeite carvings of the Chinese mystical creature, 貔貅, "pixiu". In mythical lores, this creature is said to be able to attract and store wealth. With such an ability, carvings of "pixiu" are of often used in Feng Shui for drawing in wealth while also dispelling negative Feng Shui.
All jadeite pieces in this bracelet are Type A jadeite. Each individual jade carving is intricate and the jadeite material used has a light green hue that differs slightly with each jade carving. The jadeite bracelet is strung with an elastic string which allows for some stretch in the bracelet to let it be worn over the hand. It sits nicely on wrists with a circumference of not more than 16cm.
