Jadeite pendant in a carving of a Chinese mystical creature, 貔貅, pronounced as "pixiu". This mystical creature is regarded in Chinese mythology as an auspicious symbol, for its ability in bringing in wealth to its owner and warding off bad luck.
Intricately carved, this jadeite pendant is translucent in parts with the rest of the jadeite material in a beautiful green hue with slight blue tones.
