Lavender is an interesting colour in natural jadeite, with some pieces appearing with pinkish tints while other pieces can carry bluish tints. The overall lavender hue in this well rounded lavender cabochon is more of a pure lavender hue with a very slight blue tint. On one corner of the cabochon, there is a patch of bluish-green or "piao hua" (飘蓝花) subtly decorating the lavender cabochon. The good translucency and fine crystal structure in this jadeite cabochon allows it to have a watery lustre.
