This is a Type A lavender jade ring set with 18K white gold and natural diamonds. Rectangular in shape, the lavender jadeite has a modified and more contemporary cutting. The domed surface of the jadeite is similar to cabochons but both sides of the jadeite are straight and polished flat.
The colour lavender in natural, Type A jadeite is hard to come by with a good degree of translucency and watery lustre. This elegant combination of qualities is present in this jadeite centrepiece. The pure lavender hue is beautifully saturated and carries the colour vividly with a lustrous glow due to the good translucency of the jadeite material. The lavender hue does not diminish in natural daylight as well. The main product photos are taken in natural daylight and are representative of the jadeite ring's appearance in natural lighting. Natural white diamonds encrusted in the gold ring encasing the jadeite complements the cool lavender hue of the jadeite ring whilst adding an extra sparkle to this stylish jade ring.
