This is a classic jade pendant with a smooth unfaceted surface. The light green jadeite pendant is carved in a barrel shape which is round and cylindrical. The centre of the jade barrel is hollow which allows a necklace to pass through for easy wearing. Barrel shaped jadeite carvings are known as Lu Lu Tong or 路路通 in Chinese. Its hollow barrel shape signifies a clear and unblocked path without obstacles. The Chinese words 路路通 also directly translates to unobstructed paths, at every turn.
This jade pendant is made of a light green material with no visible impurities.
