This is a Type A jadeite bangle with a soft lavender colour. The lavender hue is evenly spread throughout the jade bangle. In several areas of the bangle, light green mixes delicately with the lavender colour in a beautiful blend of soft pastel hues. The jadeite material of this bangle is fine grained, giving the bangle a smooth and well polished finish.
With lavender jadeite, the colour appears most saturated in warm indoor lighting and is most accentuated with strong indoor spotlights. In natural lighting, a common issue with lavender is a greyish overtone that can result in the washout of the lavender hue.
For our product photos, the main photos are taken in natural lighting so the lavender colour shown in photographs give an accurate display of the actual jadeite colour as seen in natural light. The last 2 photos in the photo collection are taken in indoor lighting.
