This carved jadeite ring is set with a pair of brightly coloured jadeite carvings in the classic shape of a Hu Lu or 葫芦 in Chinese. The matching pair of Hu Lu carvings displays a bright orangy red colour which has an eye-catching, fiery glow.
Carved with domed surfaces, these Hu Lu carvings are well-proportioned which emphasize the good translucency of the jadeite material. Light passes through the jadeite easily, allowing the vivid colour of the jadeite to be illuminated with a natural glow. The domed shape of the Hu Lu carvings also complements the non-literal meaning of this classic jadeite carving, symbolising the abundance of good health, longevity, and wealth.
This jadeite ring is natural Type A and has not been enhanced. The photos are taken in natural lighting and great care has been taken to provide as accurate a representation as possible of our jade pieces.
