In a bright orangy yellow hue, this Type A jadeite cabochon is eye-catching and intriguing at the same time. Natural jadeite can be found in a range of colours including yellow and orange hues. However, natural jadeite with saturated colours are usually opaque with lower translucencies. With its highly saturated colour, the outstanding feature of this jadeite cabochon is its high translucency and good clarity.
In natural lighting, the bright candy like colour is accentuated by a shimmer apparent within the cabochon body. Shimmers are usually only seen in glassy colourless jadeite cabochons. The highly fine crystal aggregates and high translucency of this orangy yellow jadeite give rise to the beautiful shimmery effect seen as the jadeite ring shifts about in natural lighting.
This Type A jade ring has been set with 18K white gold framed in a halo of natural diamonds. The diamonds chosen for this setting are in round and baguette shapes symmetrically set to give an elegant look to the ring.
The jadeite cabochon is guaranteed Type A, without enhancements. The main photos are taken in natural lighting and there are 2 additional photos taken with indoor lighting. The indoor photos are to showcase how the jade ring would look like in normal indoor lighting.
