Red jadeite cabochon ring with a single halo of diamonds set in 18K white gold. Red is relatively uncommon in jadeite and not a colour that most people recognise jadeite in. This particular piece has a bright red hue under natural light with a tinge of orange. Jadeite pieces that have intense colours are usually found in more opaque materials which makes this cabochon stand out. This red jadeite cabochon has a good level of translucency and has fine crystal aggregates allowing for a bright and lustrous polished finish.
Not commonly seen, but this jadeite is still a Type A untreated jadeite.
