This Type A jadeite bangle has a soothing blue hue that sets it apart from classic jade colours. This unique colour is reminiscent of calm ocean waters, made even more so with the translucency of the natural jadeite. Being highly translucency, light imparts a watery appearance to the jadeite that complements the ocean blue hue of the jadeite bangle.
With its high translucency, light plays an important role in the colour changes of this jadeite bangle. Light easily penetrates the jadeite material, creating a striking glow in the blue jadeite material. In brighter lighting conditions, both outdoors and indoors, the jadeite has a clear blue colour which shifts to a darker blue colour in dim lighting.
Carved with an inner diameter of 60mm, this jadeite bangle accommodates larger wrists. Its side profile with a cross-section diameter of 8.8mm allows the bangle to be comparatively lighter in weight and more comfortable to wear.
