This is a Type A jade bangle in an oval shape. Being oval, this bangle will sit more snugly on one's wrist and will not shift around once worn. As a result, only one side of the bangle will be displayed on the wrist.
Interestingly, one half of this bangle is much more translucent than the other half. On this side of the jadeite bangle, the high translucency is complemented by a glow or shimmer that is usually found in fine colourless jadeite. On this same side, there is a small dash of green that adds colour to the otherwise whitish jade bangle. Due to the oval shape of the bangle, this translucent half of the bangle can be worn on the wrist and will not shift around.
The other half of the bangle is a less translucent material due to the presence of more cotton-like particles within the jadeite that reduces the translucency. The entire jadeite bangle is otherwise made up of fine crystal aggregates and has been polished to a high shine and glow.
