This Type A jadeite bangle has an interesting mix of colours. A part of the bangle is in a bright pink lavender hue and another half of the bangle is in a bluish green hue. The contrasting colours give the bangle a unique look and depending on preference, the bangle can be worn differently with either side facing upwards to complement different outfit styles at any given day.
The lavender hue in this jade bangle is a pinkish lavender due to a lesser blue tone. The beautiful pinkish lavender hue is enhanced by a fine crystal aggregate structure which allows for the jadeite to be polished to a high glossy lustre. The combination of fine texture and high polish is rarely found in pinkish lavender hued Type A jadeite. The pinkish lavender gradually changes into a bluish green hue, beautifully displayed in a natural gradient of colours. Curiously, there are several parts of the jade bangle that have a bluer hue which are actually more translucent.
